MWF & T/Th AM Preschool
Teacher: Christine Ruby
Personal Background: I graduated from WSU and have a BA degree in Education. During my college era, I worked at WSU Child Care Center. I was a substitute for the public school system and have been at North Wall for the last thirteen years teaching. I am also the Assistant Director. My husband, Mark, and I have three children: Amanda, Derek, and Devin. As a family, we enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, and walking. My lifetime goal has been to work with children, and I am very happy to be working at North Wall!
Philosophy: My purpose is to teach children a meaningful and balanced curriculum of skills and information through developmental activities that encourage the children to want to lean more while building positive self-esteem. I believe that children learn best in a warm and caring atmosphere. I believe each child is unique and is host to many strengths and intellect. They are deserving of unconditional love, praise, and encouragement. I believe children should be given the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace and that all children deserve a quality education rich in life experience.
Goals for the Class:
To guide children in social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth
To promote a positive sense of self and others

To prepare children for a successful school experience
