Pre Toddler Teacher:
Bridget Andersen
Personal
Background: I was born in Bremerton, WA, but my family moved us to a small town called Tonasket when I was 12. I did running start in high school and graudated with my AA degree. I then went on to Eastern Washington University where I received my BA in Children's Studies. I am very close to my family; I have an older sister who is married and a younger brother who still lives at home. My parents have been together 26 years and are still in love. I love getting us all together on holidays because in my family dancing is a huge tradition, so we dance and cook and laugh a lot.
Philosophy of Teaching: My philosophy has always been that I as the teacher am there to guide the students through their learning process. I want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and learn through exploration. Every child learns differently and it's important that we as teachers are there to help that learning and encourage new and different ways of thinking.
