I understand that I will be given a written assessment of my child’s development in Nov., Feb., and May and a picture portfolio in June. Assessments are confidential and only shared with other professionals following written authorization of parent. *
I understand that my child is a unique individual and although he/she will be exposed to many concepts, North Wall does not guarantee a set amount of knowledge acquired by the end of the school year. *
I understand that the desired outcome for the children and families who attend North Wall to be positive members of our community and to become well-educated and loving members of the world community. *
Information about my child& information about progress and/or behavior is kept confidential. Teachers only discuss developmental & behavioral issues privately with the family during an arranged conference, not on a daily basis in the classroom. *

HEALTH & SAFETY *
I understand that North Wall is a nut free environment and will eliminate any nut products from snacks and lunches. *
I understand that I may not bring my child to school when sick and that I will be asked to pick up my child as soon as possible (within one hour) if he/she gets sick at school (fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or contagious illness). *
I understand that if my child is sent home from school for illness he/she may not return before 24 hours. When the child returns to school he/she must also be symptom free unless a note from a physician specifically stating the child is “not contagious”. *
I understand that if my child is sent home for extreme behavioral issues, he/she may not return for 24 hours. *
I understand that North Wall may not administer prescription to my child without written permission. *
I understand that I will be given a written report of any minor injuries, medication, and I will be contacted by phone, if possible, for any major injury that occurs at school. *
I understand I am expected to explain to the school any injuries that have occurred at home. *
I understand that if my child is under 5 years of age and attends an all day program, he/she will be given a short rest time, and I will provide a sheet and blanket and launder it weekly. *
I understand that I am expected to provide my child a sack lunch daily (meeting all licensing requirements) if he/she is in an all day program and will be asked to provide a snack for his/her class occasionally. *
I am aware of where to find the North Wall Snack menu and will take the responsibility of informing North Wall of any allergies my child has. *
I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the school of any changes at home that might affect my child at school, i.e. potty training, parental absence, etc. *
have received and read the Disaster Preparation Plan outline. *
SCHEDULE *
I will be consulted before any major changes that affect my child are made, such as changes in room, teacher, or special services. *
I am aware of which days my child’s class is closed. *
REGISTRATION *
I am aware that if my child is in the K-6 Elementary Program he/she may have the option of registering for Summer Enrichment which includes academics and weekly field trips plus optional swim lessons. *
Before my child is moved from one class to another, I will be consulted and my child will be oriented to the new classroom and every effort will be made to provide continuity over time. *
FEES *
I agree to pay the full monthly tuition by the 1st of each month and understand that I will be charged a late fee if I have not paid by the 5th. *
I understand that my child will lose his/her place at North Wall if tuition plus late fee has not been paid by the 15th of the month. *
I am aware that the hours North Wall is open are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and I agree to pay a late pick up fee if my child has not been picked up by 5:30 p.m. *
I have paid the enrollment fee and understand that it will be refunded to me only if I give 30 days notice when withdrawing my child from school. *
If my child is in the AMPS or AMPK which is over at 11:30, I understand that I will be a charged $10 for extending the time scheduled up to 1 hour. I will be billed at the half day tuition rate for extending the time more than 1 hour. *

I am aware that I may visit North Wall at any time Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. *
I will accompany my child into a classroom with a teacher in it and sign in the time of arrival, in the Attendance Notebook. If my child’s teacher is not in the classroom, I will take my child to another classroom to be with another teacher temporarily. *
I will call North Wall and inform the school if my child is absent. *
I am aware that the administration and staff use a variety of techniques to negotiate difficulties. I will communicate individually with my child’s teacher or with the administration if I have concern. *
