Elementary Summer classes vary year to year based on enrollment. This year (summer of 2026), we are happy to offer 3 additional elementary classes! Our classes will be open June 22-August 21. Enrollment for summer happens in February. We encourage you to reach out to ask about availability as it does fill up fast!

Katelyn is a Washington State certified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts Education and a minor endorsement in English Language Arts. She has taught for the Institute of Reading Development and privately tutored children to adults in Art and English, taught middle and high school art and English for Spokane Virtual Learning and also guest taught for Spokane Public Schools. Katelyn is also a professional artist working in visual art, music, and writing. She adores the family-like atmosphere of North Wall and the opportunity to teach in such a child-centered close-knit environment. She has been with us in many capacities. She began as a summer teacher in July of 2024, became an art specialist, and has spent time in Infants through Elementary! She is excited to lead her own classroom this summer!

1st – 4th Grade Class
Caralee has been teaching for 15 years, is a wife to her loving husband, Tim, and a mother to her three beautiful daughters. She wants students to enjoy learning, be problem solvers, and helpful to others. During the school year, Caralee teaches our AM Preschool and AM Prekindergarten classes as well as math in our 1st-5th Grade class.

4th-6th Grade Class

Alivia just graduated with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Montana State University. She worked as a teaching assistance in a daycare in infant through preschool classrooms. She recently spent time in Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and a one-class schoolhouse with Kindergarten through 7th grade. All of her immediate family live here in Spokane. She loves doing anything creative, whether cooking and mixing ingredients or making art. Alivia loves the philosophy and that everything is done with love here at North wall. She thinks that there is no greater way to make an impact on hearts and things than doing it with love and genuine care.
She and Jessica will be co-teaching the class this summer! This class has a 1:12 ratio.
Jessica has a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Eastern Washington University. She has much experience working with children of various ages. She has been a volunteer at a bible school as a teacher and counselor for the last 12 years. She has been a center aid, nanny, and works as a Guest Teacher in the public schools. She lives on the outskirt of town with her family and 10 chickens! She is loving that North Wall gives her the ability to really get to know each child and watch them grow and discover the world around them.
