Personal Background:
Maddie was at a previous center for 2 years; 1 with school aged children and the last year as the Lead Infant Teacher. Maddie completed her CDA in 2026. Prior to working with children, Maddie was a phlebotomist – medical assistant. She joined North Wall in July of 2023 working in the Pretoddler class. Maddie married her husband in June of 2025, and they just welcomed their baby girl in June. Her hobbies include playing the acoustic and electric guitar, as well as the ukulele. Maddie loves to read and write in her free time.
Philosophy of Teaching:
Maddie is excited to be a positive role model and additional form of support to all the children in her class. She is also excited to nurture and form impactful relationships with not only her class, but with other NWS families as well.
Goals for the Class:
- To help children develop self-awareness
- To help children develop independence
- To provide a safe, secure, stimulating environment
- To plan purposeful activities that allows children to explore through sensory, physical, emotional, and cognitive domains.
- To work as a team with families to support each student
